Emotional commitment plays a big part in the spirit of a business and I have personally seen a massive change in the culture of a business due to a shift in the emotional landscape!  Eventually the business stopped &#039;being&#039; its original vision and moved into a realm where it could no longer be recognised ... and later nobody wanted to invest emotionally in the business.
